Career Counselling

to a number of appropriate job options from which you can select."

The 4 stage process includes:
1. An assessment session
This session will be o approximately 5 hours duration
2. Analysis of assessment findings based on:
3. An Individual Feedback Session.
This session (of about 1.5 hour duration) will be held approximately one week after the testing session. During this session a range of suitable career options will be discussed with you. In this discussion emphasis will be placed on outlining:
(a) job descriptions/activities as well as
(b) practical ways for you to enter those careers in which you are most interested.
4. Report (Optional). The report will provide a description of the assessments you undertook, your strengths and samples of suitable occupations.
This service is suitable for school leavers as well as for those considering a career change.

- Aptitude Testing to determine your strengths.
- A Personality Questionnaire which will provide measures on a number of your personality traits such as extroversion and introversion.
- A Work Values Inventory which will identify those values which are most important to you in the workplace.
- An Interest Survey which will highlight your areas of interest in relation to work activities.
3. An Individual Feedback Session.
This session (of about 1.5 hour duration) will be held approximately one week after the testing session. During this session a range of suitable career options will be discussed with you. In this discussion emphasis will be placed on outlining:
(a) job descriptions/activities as well as
(b) practical ways for you to enter those careers in which you are most interested.
